DH & I went to Paris to the Moon today...It's a wonderful little shop in Costa Mesa that is packed full of wonderful creations!
Take a peek inside...
There were jars & jars filled with pink, aqua, silver & sparkly goods.
Cards, paper, tags, and so many pretty & unique artistic things!
We then decided to go over to the dark side & visit Paris Underground...
Which is located in another store behind Paris to the Moon!
We talked to Darren the owner for a while and he told us about the new shop
"Paris Underground".
He has a sweet pink & sparkly fairyesque atmosphere in Paris to the Moon.
And opened his second shop for all of us underground "dark-side" folks!
Apparently Paris to the Moon was originally more goth like in style & has changed over the years.

I loved everything in both stores & thought of Kimberlee of Edgar & Edgar.Underground was so her style...turns out she was just there a few weeks ago too!
I did pick up goods from both stores...
I bought a pink mercury glass candlestick, some vintage pinup girl paper, some wonderful crown tags & an enamel ball with the letter "J" on it.
At the Underground I got my son an awesome vintagey-gothic style print...which he loved!
And a few Halloween goods.
If you're ever in Costa Mesa & haven't been there yet, you gotta go!
We also went to Roger's Gardens...such a magical place!
Visit my other blog here to read about it...

These two shops have been on list for ages. I have to get there, but am trying to find a time when I can leave my 2 year old at home. I don't think she could handle not touching-I mean even I won't be able to!
Priscilla ~ those are amazing looking shops ! Next time I am in California, I have got to ask you for the addresses ~ Thank you for the pretty pics ~
Hi Priscilla,
Darren's shop, Paris to the Moon, is one of my favorite stores. He has a flair for display. I'll be in SoCal this Sunday and Monday. I am planning on visiting Darren at PTTMoon on Monday around noon.

Oh, I want to go there. Hmmm...How far is Costa Mesa from Fresno?
love that Paris font
Last Halloween my mother took me to your shop (Paris Underground). What a special treat, now every time I am in town I make sure to stop by! -Greetings from San Francisco
Wow! Love your site Flea Market Queen!
I found your blog when I was looking for Paris to the Moon's site, but it looks like www.shopparistothemoon.com is down right now. I have never been to Paris to the Moon or Paris Underground, but I was invited to show my baby and children's clothing line Infamous Baby www.infamousbaby.com at their Halloween opening night on Friday September 5th 2008 at 7:00 pm. Thank goodness I found your blog and was able to get a taste of the fabulosity of the shops!
Along with some artists and designers like myself attending the opening night event, there will also be a screening of Christy Kane's short film "Callalilly" and she'll be signing her book "The Sisters Kane".
I don't know if you live around here, but if you do, I hope you stop by and say hello at Paris Underground!
